Not everyone is out to get you, of course, but there are definitely plenty of players who would love to get their hands on your loot. Zombies aside, you’ll also need to be careful when running into other players. Teaming up with other people is also very practical because the game world is overrun by zombies and it helps to have someone to watch your back. Like most titles in this genre, Unturned is a lot more fun when played with friends. This duality is one of the main reasons why I found Unturned to be such a compelling game. However, there’s a lot more content here than you might expect and the game is overall pretty challenging past a certain point. The core gameplay mechanics are very straightforward and easy to learn even if you don’t have any previous experience with survival sandbox games.
Unturned is a game that somehow manages to feel both simple and complex at the same time.
